Vector Aerospace
Signs Service Agreement with West Coast Helicopters

For Immediate Release                                                                                                                                                                                                                                April 27, 2010

Richmond, BC – Vector Aerospace Corporation, one of the world’s leading independent providers of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services is pleased to announce that Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services-North America has signed a Service Agreement with West Coast Helicopters of British Columbia, Canada, effective through to December 31st, 2011.  The service agreement includes an optional two-year extension in support of its fleet of five Eurocopter AStar B2s, two McDonnell Douglas MD500D model helicopters and a Bell 206; and provides comprehensive coverage for all engine and component arisings.

Terry Eissfeldt, director of maintenance and co-owner of West Coast Helicopters says: “the Vector team has been very proactive in their approach in meeting our real-time needs; from both a technical support and financial management perspective.  Their approach of not only saying they want to help, but actually helping is very refreshing and appreciated in today’s economy and market. Vector Aerospace has earned our trust, and we confidently look forward to meeting the challenges ahead.”

Tim Cox, vice-president of engine and component sales for Vector Aerospace explains that since the economic downturn of 2009, more and more operators are searching for ways to increase the quality of their repair and overhaul support while closely managing operating budgets and maintenance costs. Having earned and supported a solid reputation in the rotary-wing maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) market for more than 50 years, Vector is viewed by many as a leader in this area.

Cox indicates that in the case of West Coast Helicopters, Vector has again demonstrated that its years of experience and know-how, combined with diverse set of repair and overhaul capabilities (engines- including full test capability; dynamic components; airframes and avionics) enables it to provide comprehensive, best-in-class support across a wide range of helicopter models; making Vector an attractive choice for MRO support.  “In addition, our emphasis on building mutually-beneficial relationships and delivering superior customer satisfaction (the ‘valued-added items’) in addition to consistently enhancing and improving upon our technical capabilities continues to be a winning formula for Vector Aerospace.”
